This section is ideal for family hikes in the Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es-Orientales<\/b>. Shortly after the start, a short climb leads to a first viewpoint, revealing a panoramic view of Argel\u00e8s Bay, the Alb\u00e8res massif, and the coastline stretching towards Collioure<\/b>. <\/p>\n

The journey continues along a balcony path above the sea. The arrival at l’Ouille beach<\/b> is striking due to the stark contrast between its dark rocks, light sand, and the intense blue of the sea. Further on, the path runs along the ramparts of Fort Rodon<\/b>. The final approach to Collioure<\/b> is the highlight of the show. The village gradually reveals itself, its bell tower slowly appearing on the horizon. <\/p>\n

Our advice: since this route is one-way, you need to plan your return. You can either retrace your steps or use the summer sea shuttles between Argel\u00e8s and Collioure. <\/i><\/p>\n

This circular hike to Massane Tower<\/b> starts at the foot of Valmy Castle, in Argel\u00e8s-sur-Mer.<\/b> The outward journey offers a varied immersion in the Alb\u00e8res massif<\/b>, alternating between wide forest tracks and more intimate paths, all punctuated by historical remains such as the dolmens of Cova de l\u2019Alarb and Collets de Collioure<\/b>. <\/p>\n

The ascent, significant with its 800 meters of elevation gain, finally leads to the goal: Massane Tower<\/b>. The reward matches the effort, with breathtaking views of the entire C\u00f4te Vermeille and the Roussillon plain<\/b>. It’s the ideal spot for a well-deserved break. This area is also perfect for other outdoor activities, such as mountain biking. <\/p>\n

The coolness of the La T\u00eat river<\/b> accompanies the start of the walk, before arriving at the Orgues d\u2019Ille-sur-T\u00eat site<\/b>, the highlight of the visit.
